This Acceptable Use Policy governs the use of Hume AI's services and applies to all users and authorized third parties. This policy supplements our Terms of Service and is designed to ensure that our technology is used in a safe, lawful, and respectful manner.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use Hume AI's services for any of the following purposes:
1. Harm or Exploit Minors
- Creating or sharing material that exploits or sexualizes minors
- Targeting minors with inappropriate or violent content
- Engaging in bullying, harassment, or grooming behaviors
- Any activity that compromises children's well-being
2. Deceptive or Misleading Activity
- Impersonating individuals without their permission
- Creating voice outputs that replicate others without clear, affirmative consent
- Producing false content that harms public well-being
- Bypassing or attempting to circumvent safety mechanisms
3. Violate Laws or Rights
- Infringing intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
- Facilitating illegal trade including drugs, weapons, or human trafficking
- Providing unauthorized legal, financial, or medical advice
4. Create Harmful Content
- Promoting violence, terrorism, hate speech, or discrimination
- Encouraging self-harm or suicide
- Harassing or defaming individuals
- Undermining human dignity or community well-being
5. Interfere with Systems or Users
- Unauthorized access to networks or systems
- Deploying malware or surveillance tools
- Using automated systems to disrupt services
6. Manipulate or Abuse Service
- Exploiting credits or creating fake accounts
- Political campaigning that compromises electoral integrity
- Commercializing outputs without permission
- Training other AI systems without authorization
7. Other Requirements
- You must disclose when AI agents are being used in interactions
- Critical advice in areas such as legal, financial, or medical matters requires qualified professional review
Enforcement
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination. Hume AI reserves the right to take appropriate action against any user who violates this policy, including reporting illegal activities to relevant authorities.
